I think all that add-on does is nullify a web socket which is what a lot of those chat boxes on websites use. You could probably drop this code in uBlock Origin for free...


Why is everything today a paid for subscription? Gesh...

I'm not very excited about it.
For one, they make a lot of claims on the website and the Chrome store, but little to back them up. Most important, what it ultimately does is very limited and already done by many other extensions of similar type (ad blockers, popup blockers, cookie warning blockers and the like) and yet another extension seems overkill.

Moreover, this is a paid extension that doesn't even have any kind of trial, their FAQ even mention that you must pay to begin using it, so testing is fundamentally impossible. Plus all of what it does is alread done by better, open source extensions I find very little reason to buy yet another that should've been free or even open source to begin with. Plus you can most likely configure other extensions to do this very same thing for free (as F22 Simpilot already implied).

I would pass on it.
