the partition table does not have a valid system partition

"If this fails plug back in all drives, boot free Partition Wizard which will give you a Disk Mgmt picture. Take a camera snap of the full windows showing all listings, scrolling if necessary. Attach the picture(s) in your reply."

Yes, I'm sorry I actually went back and edited the post to include downloading the PW ISO and how to burn it to disk, but apparently you read the earlier version which only said Boot so I understand how that could be missed.

It's totally fine my friend. I'm not mad at anything but my PC. I'm trying to download the ISO from the link you hyperlinked, but it wont go through for me. Does the .exe version have the same functionality?

I'm not seeing the SSD via PW. Will keep trying to get the ISO.

Booted once from PW. Got the error message "this version of PW not compatible with windows server"
At that time I only had the SSD hooked to the Mobo.
In an effort to trick PW into ignoring my hardware I re-hooked up the drive that I did a fresh WIN7 install on, as well as the SSD.
SUCCESS! at least at getting the CD to boot.

The drive I'm looking for is ~450 gigs.

The ~80 gig one that is shown is the fresh install.

I have no idea if there is a tool for resurrecting this drive.

I just read the help file on rebuilding the MBR, It clearly says, "select the drive whose MBR is damaged"
There is no drive. I'm beginning to lean towards "hey buddy, your drive is toast"

But tell me if its too soon for that

To verify that the disk shown is not the droid I'm looking for, I explored the partition. On the desktop had it been the SSD you would have seen a bunch more than this. That and you can see I made the shortcut to disk manager earlier today.

If the drive doesn't show up in PW Boot disk then enter BIOS setup to see if it is detected at all in the listings under hard drives, SATA/IDE or Storage. If not then you'll need to replace or adjust the cables, change ports, try different power lead, to try to get it detected there first before any drive diagnostics will run.

If the drive is less than a year old their Tech Support will help you do this to test the drive to determine if it needs free replacement which you are entitled to for the first full year.
