I recently installed all the Windows updates after pushing it off for awhile and after I did that and reset my computer now when I type in my password to go into windows it says "the specified process is not available" and won't let me into Windows. I can't even access Safe Mode, I tried to reformat but it said I was missing some of the drivers I needed. Is there a way to fix the problem maybe in Command Prompt instead of reformayting?

Boot into System Recovery Options to System Restore to a point before the Updates.

Then install them in small groups starting with the Optional drivers. If a group fails restore and do them singly to pinpoint the Update which is causing the problem, post it up here in our Updates forum.

I don't have system restore points set up so that won't work

Windows Update sets Restore points before each set of updates. Unless you turned them off you should have one when you type System Restore in the Start Search box.

If you disabled your first line of defense then try Startup Repair.

If it will not repair then you'll need to Clean Reinstall
