Solved The update installed is froze

I try and update windows apps and ( the Update Standalone installer) Just keeps running and won't install anything. I also try to install the Internet 10 update and it does the same thing. (searching for updates on this computer)

Even when I click the Updates it searches to see what update have been installed and never stops.
This is a new install of 7 pro.
Could one of my updates have caused this or one to delete to fix it?

Follow these instructions exactly.
First, set Windows Updates to never check for Updates.
Next reboot your computer, then install KB3020369, if not installed.
Then install KB3172605.

Windows updates should return to normal. You can then reset your updates to automatically check for updates if desired

I followed the instructions to the letter but this is all I see when trying to install anything from Windows.

I have used this on many computers and many posters have also used it with success.

Did the two updates install? Did you receive and error messages?

Hi,
Make sure the windows update service is not running before you attempt to manually install an update

Windows Update will not update and I've tried multiple fixes
