Well, some of them. It must be the servers that have changed something, nothing else makes sense.


Here are some of the IPs and messages:


"At IP Address 208.184.49.9
Connect error:10060.
Connection timed out.
A connection attempt failed because the connected
party did not properly respond after a period of time,
or established connection failed because connected host
has failed to respond.
Socket closed.

A few others:

132.163.4.101 Connect error:10060.
Timed out.

At IP Address 192.43.244.18

208.184.49.9 has absolutely nothing running, no server, nothing.

132.163.4.101 also has nothing running on it. Although, this is a NIST time server IP address.

192.53.103.104 also has nothing running on it. Though Shodan has logged the NTP (Network Time Protocol) ports.

66.243.43.21 doesn't have anything running on it.

205.188.185.33 doesn't have anything running on it. Another dead server.

192.43.244.18 Has nothing running on it. In fact, the host name actually says the following: "this.has.not.been.ntp.server.time.nist.gov.since.2012."

In light of this information, perhaps you should shoot the program developer an email and tell him that he needs to update what IPs the program uses because many of them are just simply off line and not used anymore.

I use it myself when I fly in the Sim and need to set the correct Sim time from where I fly from depending on where in the world I'm at. Been around Earth in the Sim five times now, touched all seven continents and been to a majority of damn near every country in the world thus far! LOL Thus my username: F22 Simpilot.

I can modify the IP addresses within the programme - when I can find out the new IPs. But I'll send an Email to the author anyway.

Didn't work for me. Run. "Loading" then says I have no Internet connection. Locks up.

It might be your firewall or anti-virus. It's not really the best program, and I'm sure there are betters. It renders in Flash so that kinda sucks but you don't need Flash.

Thanks again, I'll try these otherwise will stick with the two IPs that still work.


It appears that the time-servers' IPs change occasionally.
