Timed out

I have a laptop with win7 Home edition. When writing an email if I take to long to complete ( such as answering the telephone) I get this message
" For security reasons, if you have not used the site for 20 minutes you have been logged out"
Where is this message coming from, ie the OS, my ISP or where.
Ideally I would like to disable this annoying problem

Hi Bures,

If you are writing this email in a web browser then this would normally come from the site that you have your emails with, for example... i am with AOL and they sign me out after about 20 minutes too.

This is a security measure put in place so that if you were to ever leave your emails open, you would be signed out so people couldn't snoop around :devil:.

I would look in the settings of your account to see if there is an option to disable that but i can't find it with AOL

Have you checked your Drafts folder? Alternatively, compose your email in Notepad and then cut/copy and paste when finished.

The laptop is actually my wifes, she is away at the moment but she tells the email programme being used is Outlook Express.
Odd, I didnt think you cold get OE for win 7

Good idea about using Notepad and then copy/paste.

If you can get a screenshot, of it happening maybe just opening a blank email and let it sit for a few minutes, such as go eat dinner, or watch a tv show.
