"to be or not to be"

i need upgrade my old ati hd4670 512mb graph card to faster and newer.So there is one good option:Gainward gtx460 1GB/2TB versions,overclocked.
I use my pc to making 3d models and image editing-but sometimes i play games too.
Both cards(1gb and 2gb) take 2gb system memory,so i think, i must have that 2gb card.Because i do not want "waste" that 2gb system memory with "only" 1gb card.
So is it there any suggestions or user opinions? thank you :drool:

A GTX460 is a decent card, and will be fine for what you want it for. Though I'm not sure what you mean by saying that the card "takes" 2GB of RAM. I think you're wanting to say it will use up to 2GB of RAM, but that's only if it runs out of graphic memory.

Though yea, I'd recommend that card if you're wanting to upgrade.
