Nice new feline acquisition, Joan. :) I have a weak spot for black cats. ;) I hope your other cat(s) get along with him/her. If the cat is young enough, it may go smoothly. The other is natural disposition. But it does seem like even if cats in the same house don't like each other, they find a way to co-exist with only the rare display of animosity.

Thanks Dinesh, Randy and Lee :) yes will have air conditioning. you will melt in NC without it. Also, yes doing the same kind of work. Working with MES (manufacturing Execution Systems). Will be working at a new facility that provides almost 25 million doses of vaccine a year. fun stuff. Thank you, she is starting to settle, Sooty my other cat, who is also black, tends to hiss and snarl a lot if she comes in sight and then wants to go out to get out of the way. ;)

He's 10 now and we are wondering if he thinks Lynx has come back. :D Willow is very like Lynx, very small, and darts about very quickly.

I know they'll both settle in time, today he's been in a lot but down at one end of the bungalow on our bed, whereas she has been in the living room at the other end hiding under the throws on the couch or if I was in there on my knee or at the side of me.;)
