Surprised only one that is a wild thing to happen many mountains in Cali

I drove from Huntington beach to Vegas and back a couple years ago and that was pretty wild seeing and of course driving the roads there :shock:

Ours happens usually every year not every thousand

We are used to flood conditions here but not normally due to rainfall the local river Usk and the Severn Estuary has a tidal range of up to approx 15 Metres (47½ Feet) between Low and High Tide. When you add the variation to the basic river level due to rain and the occasional onshore wind causing a surge this can cause "issues"

I used to work for a company based near to the river and the basement storage area had a white line painted around the wall about a metre ( 3½ Ft), from the floor, this marked the normal flood level in the winter and was the lowest shelf height you could use

The house must be raised 3 foot
Mayerland area floods continuously a long with may other areas but these are not cheap houses and are very close to Brays bayou.
