Big Update:

Well it looks like that John is allowing me to stay.

Some sad news first: My Dad died in August 2014 as he was very ill indeed, although at time rather sad of course but a relief to Mum and I as it was getting harder every day to look after him.

Also we had to put Gracie down as she was getting old etc in September 2014 and have decided to have any other dogs because of costs and vets etc. We are less tied down now.

About Me;

The Charity Shop closed down in April 2013 and I am still looking for a job. I am still living at home in Battle looking after Mum and she looks after me.

I have a Dell PC, I will upload a photo of it sometime.

Installing 7 SP1 to Windows 10 Hyper-V virtual machine to get screen capture for an updated video in a tutorial. My SP1 ISO is from 2010, quite a number of updates to install:

Luckily it's almost done the updates, it has already taken over three and a half hours:

It's days like this I wish I had a fully updated image

My scheduled re-installation of windows has been stopped because of a whopping over 200+ updates.

My last clean install went pretty smooth
There are really only 159 impotent updates
This process really helped
Before you start download KB3083710 and KB3102810 in advance, and store them on a flash drive
Start and complete the install without an internet connection
Immediately after install is complete
Manually install KB3083710 and restart.
Manually install KB3102810 and restart.
Change your windows update settings I used Check for updates but let me decide when to download and install
Unchecked Give me recommended updates the same....

Restore the Internet connection and Activate windows
Then launch Windows Update search
After about 5-10 minutes you should have plenty of updates to download and install.

Another thing is if you see this update make sure it is not installed with any other updates
It needs to be installed all by it's self
It was not uncheck automatically which caused many others to fail to install

I may get a new Samsung 850 pro 256gb and clean install again my rma'ed Crucial mx100 256gb is acting weird :/

I recently bought one to keep my "old" 128GB Crucial as a backup. Transferred with a Macrium image and things are running fine. The benchmarks are better but I cannot notice any significant performance difference.

Yea the 250gb 850 evo is looking a lot better at about 88.us verses the pro at 120.us :/

That process took 3 times to get it right Thelma
