It also means that the party who came second are still the government at the moment.
It depends on who the party who came third (very, very third) support as to who forms a new government.
Personally I hope they go with the party who came second because that means they will bring in Proportional Representation.
That would mean an end to the "first past the post" system, we would get away from this, basically, two party state and we won't have this silly situation, where a minority party become the kingmakers, again.
Whatever happens now I think that British politics is about to change dramatically and I agree that that's no bad thing.
I stayed up all night watching this and then worked all day. It was well worth it. Probably the most interesting political event in my lifetime but I'm knackered now.
