I'm back from the party. It was amazing. Her dad called me at 7PM IST and asked me to come over for the party. I couldn't believe it. I was well prepared for the party, bought a gift for them. I reached there exactly at 10:30 PM IST. They had never called me for any party ever before so this was a hint from them that they like me and they don't have any problems whatsoever. Now it all depends on how soon I get a home of my own and ask for our marriage. Its not so simple in India. Unlike other developed countries, love marriage here is considered as against the rule and 96% of the families never agree to a love marriage.

They believe in my handwork and sincerity due to which I m able to reach to their hearts today. Hope everything goes well in a year or two and I will marry her.

Not the best day today, the car needs a new battery one was ordered and it arrived at the shop yesterday, a friend collected it but it turned out to be the wrong size, it was about 1½ inches to wide, another one ordered the shop has just phone and he is mad the paper work was for the correct one but the actual battery was the wrong one so that's another day while we wait for another replacement.
It's alright having these foreign cars but you can't fit universal parts in them you have to have the particular type

Today I noticed things were going downhill in our town. Street crime is getting so bad we now have warning signs attached to lamp posts.

Even an American like me thinks this is sad.
Rolls and Bentley, both foreign-make.....Jaguar and Mini, both foreign make.....I think Aston Martin is, also.....which British automakers am I forgetting? (and are they still British?)

Triumph motorcycles, at least some models, are still made in GB. Some models for export are assembled in Thailand.

Yes it does show that the majority of them are foreign owned. There are some very familiar names in there that I've been in but you don't see now, our car is a Hyundai Amica which we bought when it was 3 three old and had just come from being a mobility car in Sterling Scotland so at least we knew it had a full service update and hadn't done that many miles.

Well tonight was a good night
Went over to some friends to eat some dinner, pork roast to be exact, and then have some beers

Tomorrow, i'll go into my small city, where there currently is like a "festival" (just without music lol) to have some beers with my friends

Today I watched the handicapped fellow (co-worker) yell at tree branches ... and then a garden hose. Everyday something new..... I guess? :sarc: Other than that, a typical day the the office, so to speak.

Stevy hi.. that's too bad.. if it was deserved.. hopefully you learned something from it .. you'll become a better employee.. if not ..that's really bad that he took his frustrations out on you .. maybe others..make sure you are fulfilling your job discription , plus other things you can see that needs doing.... give a hand there.. If you've learned from this .. then it wasn't all bad.
