Uber I really feel for you..
I un-installed a music converter program from my old Windows XP late today..as it was un-installing a little thing showed up about un-installing .. .I thought it was part of the program .. .. so I clicked it.. took me to a website.. thinking it was a part of the same program.... after I finished the un-stalling.. I went back un-installed the other program too.. was "Word Search.".. NOT A GOOD THING !!!.. after rebooting..
I never could get back in my Windows XP..
A tiny message would show up.". ERROR... Windows Product activation problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer".. ERROR 0X80090019.....
I called ATT.. tech support they sent me over to the UPPER Tech Support to fix it..after starting and stopping my pc quite a few times....getting to the boot screen.. SAFE Mode.. he tried 2 different boot things.. neither of which did anything.
He never did..get it fixed... said I would have to try to get it backed up.. then would have to re-installe Windows XP.. with all the service pac's and updates.. ..biggest mess I've ever made or had.. on a pc..
Hope you can get your pc corrected.
