Today I decided to quit with Mozilla. I have started to use Opera.

Welcome to the club I have rarely had an issue with Opera, and nothing closing and restarting didn't fix. A Guy

Today time has slowed to near zero. Am I travelling at near the speed of light? No, it's an hour before quitting time on a Friday before a three day weekend...

Today, my boss deny my request as part timer consultant in other hospital for six month with very very good pay.

A corporate painful rule to follow.

Long story short. I demanded a raise because my tasks are specialized, i have 13 tasks per week (the most busy guy there) and i'm the one with the lowest wage, so.. they offered me a raise.. 2 days ago, I got my paycheck: 5 extra bucks..

I took it as an insult, actually it was kinda humilliating, so... today i handed my resignation letter and i told the owner i'll speak with him privately tomorrow after work...

It's not about the money, it's about what those 5$ represent.. i just felt that my job is not being taken seriously or isn't important.

I'm not mad, i'm kinda sad.. i do like my job.. but i'm giving too much and receiving so little.. things need to be balanced.

Dinesh, I didn't wanted to resign .... I just wanted to resign from an extended duty .... which was started by me and well accepted in the last two years .... the counseling cell . When the Governing Body asked for the reason behind such a decision , I was not able to provide any answer .... coz that is a mere inner feeling which is difficult to share with others. Rightly, they addressed my decision as "childish" "whimsical" and denied to accept the resignation.

I dont want to get back to the cell anymore .... so I had no other way but resigning from the service. I just submitted it, and got out ... dodn't pay any attention while they were calling me back for further discussions .

Now think what to do ... accept either one.

Update : Just got a phone call .... they are ready to release me from the counseling cell, but not from the service. The accepted my conditions.

So I am not to search for a new one .... I will be there with my darling profession; but sometimes it wonders me why the human being behave like a tube of toothpaste sometimes :huh:
