Visited 5 Dining Facilities on Ft Hood--chatted with employees and gov't counterparts. Took 100+ photos. Collected best decorated facility award at DFAC 41018 for DOL. Ate too danged much. Lip swelled up from too much shrimp cocktail. Now home, evacuated, and took a zyrtec. Got outta the tie. Feel much better. LOL.

Have [ some years ago ] survived 14 inches of rain over night. [Tropical cyclone & mayhem. The screaming winds drowned out the sounds of thunder & rain. An expensive block of land for sale near by was a ravine next day.]
Such is the power of nature. All rather humbling.
In retrospect, an experience not to be missed.

We get the occasional typhoon, but that is severe.

Oh dear.. the lady at the dentist said that to me, my appointment was at 2:15, so she was perfectly set up.
