I dislocated something in my wrist and strained my back and kinked a knee and damaged a $1200 piece of furniture in the last 24 hours.

At least the furniture is oak and it did crack along the grain. If I am careful, the damage should be easy to repair structurally and cosmetically.

But the resale value is gone.

Sorry to hear you've injured yourself Antman, sorry but I think personal injury more important than furniture.
At least you're still getting Internet connection so you can keep in touch with us and we can cheer you on with the move

My most significant shortcoming, professionally, is my absolute lack of tact and sugary goodness.

Today, I had to say good-bye to all "my children" in the neighborhood. Some were quite upset, some were resigned to the inevitable. Some did not believe me. We wrapped up the weekend with an impromptu chips, cookies and soda party on my back porch.

I do not know how to reconcile my patience and tolerance with the little ones with my absolute disdain for the same qualities in adults.

Children are truly innocent, the rest of (for the most part) suck...

interesting thread. Today I finished up setting for my new 3G (though the cell phone) internet connection, cooked my wife dinner and had my right side go though micro spasms which left my right arm without feeling for 3 hours and then played AA for a few hours until the battery died. now I am surfing the net.

No, that's not true. But my wife called about half an hour ago and told DHL just delivered my Windows 7 Launch Party Kit, including the Seven Ultimate Signature Edition. Can't wait to get home!

That must be the hardest part in moving. I hope you can still maintain contact with your little friends.
