Looking after the grandkids for a couple of hours this morning dealt with my grocery delivery midday prepared the evening meal via a calor gas lamp as the light fitting in the kitchen gave up the ghost so got to send hubby out in the cold tomorrow so he can go and buy a new florescent light fitting, quiet day really

I found that these two ARE NOT the same, I just bricked my 64-bit Vista with this BS, and all's I can say is don't add this to Vista. :roflmao:

Quickest fix is to boot to safemode and delete the folder...

Thanks to SIW2 I ran this from a command window in safe and that fixed it.

If that doesn't do it - try the path - so if it's on your desktop - it goes like this:

RmDir "C:\Users\Yourusername\Desktop\GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}"

There is a version that will work in Vista created by SIW2 back in March if anyone's interested.

Today...

I finally got my new PC ordered

There was a problem when i first ordered it, with the card not being verified, but then i lent my dad's credit card (Lol that might make me sound younger than i am) and then it worked

I got a email today to confirm the delievery address, and now its on its way
Should be here Monday, tuesday or wednesday. The company says Monday, but u can never be 100% sure

Those are the parts thats already assembled, this i'll need to add:

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive SATAII 300MB/s <8.9ms 7200rpm - OEM

SAMSUNG S223C - 22X DVD+/-/RW

A GTX260 or a GTS250 + a better PSU will be added later on
