today i got back from nashville, and will probably sleep a lot since i spent the last 12 hours driving. we did see some nice houses we were interested in although we haven't made any offers yet. but hopefully the hunt will be over quickly and we can get started on the move.

Today I woke up, and trawled through the event viewer for February on my main system (oh deep joy, what an exiting thing :sarc: ), glad to say it's all nice and clear of anything nasty

Today I got back on line for the first time in 3 weeks. I had to pack everything away whilst my flat was being rewired, refurbished etc.
I've had acute disconnection anxiety as I can't even log on at work.
Much better now though.
Also The Hound of Mystery has been at a friends so I got him back today and he appears pleased to see me (hard to tell, he's mysterious)

Long ago, when people first got tired of having to sift through pages of "advertising e-mail" to find their important communications, they started blocking mail from people / addresses they didn't want to receive. One way to get around these "obstacles" (that is what the spammers see them as) is to fake the return address and either let it get bounced back to you (as if you actually sent it) or return it to your return address. Either way since the email is from you (although faked) your email blocker will not block your own mail. This is just one of many ways to force spam (and other malware attacks) into your email box for you to sort through. Evidently there are enough people who buy this stuff advertised by the spammers because they can make a lot of money doing it?
