I recently installed my windows 7 ultimate x64 to my new Vertex plus SSD, seemed fine to begin with but after a day or so I was getting a bucketload of errors when installing or using programs and it constantly wanted me to run CHKDSK on startup (which I let it do).

Those are a few of my errors, I have no idea what to do, I can't install .net framework due to an error either.

I haven't changed much, I did a few things here:
6 Ways To Free Disk Space In Windows 7

but I can't see how that ruined my installation, hopefully someone can help!
Thankyou.

Although I can not do a system restore, I disabled that gain more space on the SSD.

I think your best bet is to reinstall Windows. If you only installed it a day ago, you should not be losing too much. For installation on a SSD, please follow the tutorials:

SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

SSD - Install and transfer the Operating System

Hope this helps.

P.S. Oh, and please, do not disable the pagefile and system restore. If fact, the editor of the website where you got those instructions warns against it at the end of the article.

The popup error you get on the system tray - C:\$Mft area corrupt and unreadable This error is pertaining to Master File Table of an NTFS file system. Looks like your SSD's Mft area is corrupted.

I used to get this error for external USB HDDs when the cable is loose on the HDD side or accidentally cable gets pulled out while writing to HDD. Remove the SSD from the system, check the connectors and insert it again carefully and firmly. Make sure there are no loose connections.

Run chkdsk with /F /R on your system partiton. Reboot the system and let windows run chkdsk at starutup.

If you want to reduce the amount of space reserved for system restore points, good and well BUT do NOT eliminate System Restore points.

They will save you from disaster. They have me many times, and yes, I have am using a SSD.

Stay away from all of those Save Space tips. Stick to a plain vanilla Win 7 system and have a good solid system.

Don't make yourself problems.

Stay away from all of those wonderful tuneup, update your driver tools.

Enjoy your Windows 7.
