Sounds good. set a clean/new restore point, now.

Right click Computer, choose properties. On the left side pane, click "System Protection". Click on the the 'configure button'.
Now check "Turn off system protection"

Restart your computer

Now follow the above instructions, but uncheck "Turn off System Protection"

Well. The system just froze for the first time since I started all these scans. Could the freezing be caused by another issue?

Here's what the troubleshooter said. How long will the memtest take?

Can you click on View detailed information ? Regarding the memory test it will take a while . People here advise to let the test run over night . If you run the test and you see any errors come up stop the test and run a memory test on every memory stick one at a time inside the slot .

Also, I just got a BSOD.

Click on rb:
Type Device Manager inside

press <Enter>
Expand Disk Drives
Right click on the SSD and click on Properties
Inside the Properties window . Click on the Details tab . Click on the drop down menu under Property and select Hardware lds

Upload a scrn prnt of the Harware Ids info .

Here it is, but it encountered the exception error. I had rebooted the computer during the bsod because there were "..." next to the status of it creating the dump files for about 5-10 minutes.

The cause of the freezing seems to have been from an NVIDIA driver. After uninstalling the driver and allowing windows update to install the driver of its choosing things have been running smoothly.
