Trouble installing SP1 on Windows 7 64bit

When attempting to get SP1 from windows update it would say something along the lines of service not running. I managed to get past this by deleteing the edb log file but now when I attempt the update it searches for around 10 seconds then says an error has occurred with the error code: 800b0001. I then gave up on this way of getting SP1 and attempted a direct download from the Microsoft site but when I attempt to open the file I get a message that says "The for specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider." Is anyone able to help resolve my issue. I just need to download SP1, I don't care if it comes from the windows update or the direct download.
