Well, I've been trying to get some games running on Ubuntu 12.04 for a couple of months now and finally got sick of it. Decided to set up a dual-boot with Windows 7 and use Ubuntu solely for school purposes.
Anyways, the problem: I can't seem to boot from the install disk. I've changed the BIOS options to boot from a removable DVD first, but that doesn't work, and simply using boot options on startup doesn't show the disk as an available boot location.
All of the pages I've found say I need to format the drive, but none actually explain how. If anyone has experience with Ubuntu 12.04 and installing Windows, help would be appreciated.
