I have two old hard drives I am trying to sell, one I had to send to get repaired so they sent me a new one but the other one is used. I'm trying to sell them as a pair and finally found a buyer but at the same time I realize that just because the Drive is "RAW" doesn't mean it doesn't have data on it.
It is a WD 74GB Raptor that was in a RAID-0 set-up. I put it in my external enclosure and hooked it up through he eSATA (Didn't know if it would work)
First Problem:
The newest version has no config file. So I went back to the 1.0.7 version.
Second Problem:
After starting DBAN interactive mode the following appears, "dban has finished due to a non-fatal error"
I tried unplugging the External Enclosure with the drive but it still did the same thing.
Anyone know of a fix for this program since so far its been unsuccessful? If not a better way I could wipe the drive while in its "RAW" state?
Thanks in Advance
