Solved U/P Sharing access ??

Hi,

I just got myself a Raspberry PI2, Raspbian,Openelec is installed and Kodi also.

I want to access my folders on my Windows computer but everytime I want to add the folder in Kodi it ask's for a User name and password for that share. I never did put one so I guess there is a default U/P ?? I did try my user name and password for my Windows login but I know that can't be right.

If I right click on the folder I want to share (in Windows) it gives me 2 options, Admin and guest. If I try to change anything in there it just goes back to having not one box with a check mark, so it does not apply what I just did. If I want to add a user it ask's me for the same u/p that Kodi is asking.

Also, I did create another user but when I right click on the folder I want to share I don't have the " share with" option.

I think Kodi is using samba by the way. I know myself around computers but the networking part is still heavy for me hehe

Hoooo my bad...The folder I wanted to share was on my QNAP server, I forgot to edit the shares on the server itself.
