UAC not notifying but on

I recently jumped onto the 7 bandwagon, and clean installed an ultimate 64 version after zero writing my HDD with killdisk.

first thing I've noticed is UAC is on but I'm not being notified of programs that are blocked at startup (Core Temp, RealTemp, RivaTuner, etc)...

I came from vista so I'm used to seeing my 'some programs have been blocked' notification, not left in the dark. Is this the normal default now to not even notify? How do I turn that on?

Hello Ageeb, and welcome to Seven Forums.

This is the default UAC level. You can set UAC to the top level to have it prompt first.

In addition, if you want UAC fully on (top level), but still not get prompted by UAC for startup programs, then you can create s startup task to replace the startup program listing instead.

Thanks for the reply! I couldn't wrap my head around the lack of notification, but I feel better knowing this time it isn't end-user related

as far as the scheduled task I'm set.
