uac took control of my laptop

hi..i have a hp compaq presario cq61 with windows 7 home premium.. i tried to remove the norton antivirus and install mcafee but then the uac has disabled mt only admin account from making any changes to my laptop at all..it will not accept any windows updates auto.. i cannot access the windows recovery to put it back to original..i8 cannot do anything but basic user limited things.. i only have 1 account to use and is admin account.. i have tried the hidden admin and the uac thing from command prompt but did not work at all.. i dont know what to do and dont have big bucks to take it to a geek squad to fix... IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS IDEAS OR HELP ??? i dont even have antivirus working cuz i cant do any admin duties at all... grrr thanks

What happens when you press the Start orb, followed by pressing R on the keyboard, and typing: CMD
In the command prompt, type: SFC /SCANNOW
Press: Enter

Can you run sfc /scannow ?

Right-click the taskbar and you'll see the context menu. Select: Start Task Manager
In Task Manager, click the Applications tab.
Do you see: Administrator: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe?

i ran sfc scannow and says all good..but i dont see that in task bar... after scan now everything is still the same.. uac has tooken my admin privelages even the default admins account but i ran the scannow as admin on default admin account.. i wanted to try to recovery mode to put system back to factory new.. not a restore .. i got this comp from a friend and want to make the laptop fresh new from factory windows... any other solutions ?

Have you tried starting the laptop, and then press the F11 key when the standard prompts are displayed on the black screen.

Pressing the F11 key during startup on a computer with an HP factory image starts the system recovery process.

yes and it wont let me do the recovery cuz the uac has blocked it from my only admin and the default admin account... plus it like goes in slow motion when i move the curser around... i tried this another time like many times in a row and same thing happens... its like the uac has tooken control on my laptop.. grrr

Have you tried contacting HP to obtain Recovery Discs for your laptop:

no..i guess that would be my final option huh lol... does it cost anything ?? and my windows key pass has rubbed off from the sticker on the bottom of my laptop...is there any way to find out the key ??

This link suggests you should press the DEL key when booting to restore.
