How do I change the booting priority? and will the system be able to restart ans allow me to change it back?

select "change boot priority" and press enter. Then can change it. Don't forget to save it. You can always change it back to what it was. But it already does boot from CD .... why change it???

Do the long test as well. Post screenshot after running for 15 minutes or so. Many errors?

you told me to change it...

As for running for 15 mins it throws up an error after a couple of seconds on all scan choices

I decide to use SeaTools to check my external drive, instead, This time it started running, the green bar extended all the way to the end. yet, the log says it, too, failed! can it be that BOTH drives are no good?

Ok, a couple of steps forward:

first, I've worked out how to change the boot priority but I think it is ok as itis:

1 Sata CD: P2 TssTCorp CDDV DN SN-208bb
2 Sata HD: PO:Samsung HN-M101 MBB

Then, earlier on you wrote:

DOS normally can't use usb stuff. So external drivers can't be detected. Is internal disk a SATA-disk? If so... did you add DOS sata driver to the CD?

I just clicked and burned the CD, I don't recollect choosing any options, so I don't know if I added DOS sata driver to the CD?

Is there a way of finding out without burning another one?

The short test failed, the second, the blue segments of the horizontal bar went all the way to the end, but then it got stuck there. i don't know how long the test is supposed to take, but it said 1 minute and I aborted at after 10. Please, see the attachemnts.

Meanwhile I founs somthing odd. I have been doins scans looking fo viruses and one of the logs came up with errors related to the drive and associated with ComoFix!!!

Long test test results as well please. I assume also "too many bad sectors". You disk is faulty!! Replace it. older than 3 years? Test for warranty on seagate site
