So for a while, I had a network adapter (netgear n300) that didn't seem to work very well. It would connect, but be very slow and cut out often, requiring a computer reboot. I figured this was a problem with the adapter, so I tried one of my brother's, a netgear n600. after installation, I found I couldn't connect to any network, that networks were sometimes missing from the list, or that i'd get the dreaded "connected, but no internet...identifying" problems, after which the computer would disconnect from the network.

I got a new network adapter today, a linksys ae1200, but i'm having the same problem. Now it won't even connect at all. I'll type in the password and it'll just say "unable to connect".

I know it's not the router because all 8 other computers, my tablet, and all phones in the house are connecting just fine with great speed.

Thanks in advance
