Solved Unable to get into Safe Mode

I have scanned my computer with my antivirus,(Webroot with Spysweeper). I have also scanned with SAS and MAM and found nothing. Every thing works as it should except safe mode. I always scan with my antivirus at least once a week and use SAS and MAM several times a week. Unchecking safe mode in msconfig is easy to do if the start button is visible on the screen. My screen settings wouldn't allow this but of course I didn't know that until I tried it in safe mode. I have Google this subject several times and come up with the same things that you kind folks have. I will keep looking because there has got to be a answer some where. Thanks again.

Yes I can get into safe mode using msconfig. Once I got there all my display setting as they are would not let me see every thing. Trying to get to start button that isn't visible to type msconfig is a challenge. If I remember correctly start up repair removes many things from my computer such as settings I have worked so hard to get them to my liking. Is that correct? I'm still trying many things I have found online, no luck yet. I could change my display settings before going into safe mode using msconfig but to what. I use a 40 in. across the room set to my eye sight; works great in normal mode. Thanks again to all for your thoughts and help.

Run an online scan with Eset Free ESET Online Antivirus Scanner
Save the results log, then copy and paste it back here.

You are confusing Startup Repair with Repair Install. One is used when the OS fails to boot, the other to reinstall the OS in place while retaining programs, files and settings.

If you can't get into Safe Mode with networking to run the online scan, then burn to CD to run a deeper boot scan: FREE Bootable AntiVirus Rescue CDs Download List

After you disinfect your HD with one or more of the free bootable apps, then try Startup Repair from the Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD. Okay I dumb. I now know why remove keyboards don't work for F8 or F2. There drivers load to late in the boot process to recognize your key board input in time. I'm still looking into it some more.

Sorry it took so long to get back. Installed a wired keyboard, works now. Also changed screen resolution and that solved the problem of using msconfig and being able to use on screen mouse.
