I'm really clueless when it comes to these things.
I am trying to host TCP ports but they are unaccessable.
I turned my firewall off (Thanks Jacee) but that didn't make a difference.
I don't have any other Anti-virus programs installed.
Any ideas?

Do you mean you are trying to OPEN TCP ports for incoming connections? You will have to do this at your router. Assign a static IP address in your router to the computer that needs the open ports. Then go to the Port Forwarding section of your router's setup and forward the ports to the static IP address you created.

Download the manual for your router from the manufacturer's website and read the section on Port Forwarding. The manual should give you illustrated examples.

Well now I look at the 192.168.1.254 and see that the Static IP is set and the ports are listed as open, yet they are still unreachable.

Is 192.168.1.254 the IP address of the computer that needs the opened ports?

What are the port #s you need to open?

Use this page to check for open ports

Doctor, what's the make and model of your router and modem, if you have one?

Doctor, did you disable the Windows firewall or the firewall in your 2Wire router?

Download the manual for your router and start on page 36. Try temporarily disabling the firewall on your router, then go back to the port testing link I posted. See if your port is open. If it is, I would turn the firewall back ON in the 2Wire, then follow the instructions to open only the ports you need.

Also, It's probably a safer idea not to post your IP address and open port #.
