Unable to load Windows after installing crossfire

Hi folks

I have just installed another GPU for crossfiring my system. All went fine and dandy when suddenly one day i am unable to load windows. It would hang at the logo and reboot. Did startup repair and system restore.

System restore does not work though, as once i reboot the system. same thing would happened again, to the point system restore 'gave up' and shutdown the pc

Please fill in your system specs.
The first question I would ask is what happens if you take the second video card out? The second question would be what is the rating of your power supply? From your symptoms it is not powerful enough and needs to be replaced. This is a stab in the dark since at the time of posting I do not have your system specs. For 2 video cards you need at least an 800w or possibly 1000W depending on what else you have.

Did you pull out the 2nd card and see what happens, before you started making changes to the system ?

I have updated my system specs.

I did not try to pull out the 2nd card, will have to do it later at home.

Can it be a driver issue?

If you have the proper drivers installed for your first card and you add a duplicate, then no, it`s not a driver issue.

How long was the 2nd card in before you started having the problem ?
