Hello everyone,
This evening I have been making some modifications to several computers. I have just installed a new graphics card into my computer, however I'm not sure if it's working properly. It could be the driver, however "Driver Genius" claims that it is up to date. I open Speccy and it says that my graphics card is only 4MB, I refuse to believe this, I believe that Driver Genius is incorrect.

Speccy Information:
Code:
Graphics
        Monitor
Name SyncMaster on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
            Current Resolution 1024x768 pixels
            Work Resolution 1024x740 pixels
State enabled, primary, output devices support, VgaCompatible
            Monitor Width 1024
            Monitor Height 768
Monitor Bpp 32 bits per pixel
            Monitor Frequency 1 Hz
            Device \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
        Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
            GPU NV5
            Device ID 10DE-0029
            Revision 12
            Subvendor Creative Labs (77A42149)
            Technology 250 nm
            Transistors 15 M
            Release Date May 1999
            DirectX Support 6.0
            OpenGL Support 1.1
            BIOS Version B1
            ROPs 2
            Shaders Vertex 2/Pixel 2
            Memory Type SDR
            Memory 4 MB
            Bus Width 128 Bit
What do you think? Part of the reason I don't believe this information is accurate is I don't think I would ever have a 4MB GFX card, and I found it in a box of my miscellaneous electronics.

Perhaps my integrated GFX card is interfering? I don't see how that would be an issue considering that my monitor is connected to the GFX card, not the integrated one. Though I'm not sure how things such as those work. Also when I try to change my resolution, I only get two options: 800x600, and 1024x768.

Any assistance would be appreciated,

It just needs a driver. I see creative and nvidia, so I suspect one of those needs the correct driver. go to the mfr and download.

I'm not quite sure how to go about doing that though. Do I search for the driver for Creative or Nvidia?

That is a Creative 3D Blaster TNT2 Ultra (Device ID 10DE-0029) Release Date May 1999, that is why you are getting Creative & Nvidia references. Only supported up to XP 2007, no Vista or Win 7 support.

Is this what it looks like?

Alright I'm having trouble finding this driver. Due to the release date and other sources I'm simply going to assume that this driver isn't worth finding because of the lack of power this card has.

Thank you all for your help,
