Solved Unable To Mirror Drives - Stuck On "Resynching"

I have 5 drives in total listed on my system.

Disc 0 - A new disc I added recently in the optical drive (We can forget about this one)
Disc 1 - Contains my boot drive. And is the drive I can't mirror to. But it has been mirrored to before fine
Disc 2 - The disc I'm trying to mirror
Disc 3 - Already mirrored to disc 4 and is full
Disc 4 - Already mirrored to disc 3 and is full

I am trying to mirror disc 2 to disc 1 but it's been getting stuck on "Resynching". It actually used to be mirrored, but I had to remove the mirror a while back so I could expand the volume on the original disc 2.
Now when I'm try to re-mirror it the status on disc 1 gets stuck as "resynching" and on disc 1 disk there is a small yellow ! Triangle next to it. It doesn't give me any error cause or reason, and the only option I have when right clicking it is to re-activate disk. Which does nothing...

In the past it had synced up just fine as I mentioned. There is plenty of space, so I don't understand what the issue is. They are both GPT, so again that should be fine and they are both dynamic.

Any ideas on what I can do? I did also try to mirror it to my newly added drive instead (Disc 0) but that wouldn't have any of it - I can't remember what the error was now I'd have to attempt it again if anyone needed it. But I have a feeling it's because it's a different brand drive to the others or something.

What software you're using to mirror one disk to the other? Are you trying to mirror the hole disk or only data?
I think the problem is that you're trying to mirror a disk to a (booted) operating system disk.
Does disk 2 has a OS? You must be able to boot from disk 2.
My suggestion.
- Generate a disk image from disk 2. Use Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free and save it to disk 0.
- Restore the image created to disk 1.
- Once done, move the image to disk 1 or 2 and then apply the image to disk 0.

I'm just using Windows 7 Disk management GUI. I'm attempting to mirror a 1TB partition of Disc 2 to Disc 1.

**UPDATE** Strangely enough, I left it overnight this time, and it's been about 14 hours and I've just checked back and the re-syncing it up to 39%! So this looks promising. At first I was under the impression it wasn't working at all. But perhaps given there is 1TB of data it's taken an abnormal amount of time to start. I'll check back once I reach 100% and hopefully confirm the warning flag has gone and all is working correctly.

Thanks for your input though,

Took 2 days but eventually the 1TB I allocated was mirrored successfully - In my case I just had to leave it a long time before it started anything.
