Hello! At work we have some issues with our three months old computer HP ZBook G2 17 inch Mobile Workstation. The computer is connected to HP Advanced Docking Station. What I would like to do is to enable duplicate screen (computer screen and external monitor), but the Windows 7 Display settings keeps saying that is unable to save display settings, no matter if the external monitor is using DVI, DisplayPort or VGA cable. Only extended mode is available.

If I connect computer to external monitor without docking station, I can duplicate screen. I also tried to use another dock, but the problem still occur.

To fix this issue is really important for me because on this computer is also plugged in video projector.

Please, give me a solution!

Does this model has 2 GPUs? If the display of laptop and the externals are using different cards then it will only do extent (at least that's how desktops work).

So try changing the active GPU if such setting apply or set in BIOS "discreet only" for graphics card. Maybe someone will tell how exactly to accomplish this.

Yes, this model has 2 GPU's, one from Intel and the other one from AMD.

Does anybody know how to acomplish this in BIOS?

Did you check BIOS yet? Laptops don't have much choices anyway. :)
