Well I wouldnt actually say it's locked, but I know i'm confused. I have this external hard drive, and when I was running vista somehow locked the drive, and when i installed windows 7 it took me forever but I finally got to access my files. Only now if I hook it up to a different computer I can't access it, while my other hard drive I have no problems. Also the files on the drive all have pictures of locks on them which is just annoying. Anyone have any ideas as what I can do to solve this? :sarc:

Thanks

Have a read of this thread - Take Ownership of file, which is written by one of the mods from here, and it works for Windows 7.
