Hi

When i browse net i get annoying adwares and other things that always pop up or the text appears as links like double green line under the text and all sorts if things happening.

I remove them from the add on as im using firefox. Don't want to use other browsers.

So i remove them from addon, i also uninstall them from control panel, i delete the folders that relate to these different adwares and i use ccleaner to clean everything out to.

For some reason they all come back but sometimes with a different name.

In control panel uninstall window i see names like: 50CoupoenS.. another one called Do Not Disturb ... etc.

I was thinking of installing win 7 all over again but that seems like to much work. I dont have a image file either.

How can i get rid of this so they dont come back?

Thanks.

@ TechSeven

Download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.

Step 1.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
  • Click on the Scan button.
  • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
  • After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
  • The contents of the log file may be confusing. Unless you see a program name that you know should not be removed, don't worry about it. If you see an entry you want to keep, let me know about it.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Step 2.
Using AdwCleaner: Scan & Clean:
This time click on the Clean button.
Press OK when asked to close all programs and follow the onscreen prompts.
Press OK again to allow AdwCleaner to restart the computer and complete the removal process.
After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open automatically (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder

******Post both .txt logs

FWIW, I use AdBlockPlus and Ghostery add ons with FF. No popup advertisements and no cookies or trackers show up. I also run CCleaner after each browser session to clean up things. CCleaner also lets you add specific file/folder names to delete when it runs. I use it to get rid of some temporary internet files that Windows seems to place all over the system. I've found that if stuff is reappearing after deletion, it's likely due to something that got placed in the registry that causes a program to be "recreated".
