Solved unwanted programmes pop-ups,Malware?

When I click in a search box say google or when I clicked on new thread I keep getting adverts for different
products e g Tesco pc repair ladbrooks & sometimes it is two adverts that will come up. I then have to close the adverts & keep clicking until I get the required page. ANY HELP would be appreciated.
