Up arrow key doesnt work in games.

So... my up arrow key doesn't seem to work in any of my games but it works outside in windows, firefox and documents files. But all my other arrow keys work in games its just the up arrow that doesn't seem to want to work.

I have a Logitech G19 and what I have tried so far is changed usb slot, powered off my keyboard, tried using another keyboard, used macro keys for up.

I came to a conclusion this must be a Windows issue or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if this this the right section but it seemed game related.

Have you tried binding the up arrow key in the game options?

If it works everywhere else, the issue might be that you have not assign a key to it ingame.

I had a look at my key blindings and it seems to be mapped correctly, but when I try to map the up arrow for a different action the game doesn't seem to recognize that it at all. Some games in the main menu where the key bindings don't have effect the up arrow doesn't work either. It may be Logitech Gaming Software 8.57 issue should I uninstall driver and see if that works?

Well, doing a complete uninstall, cleaning registry remnants is never a bad idea... as long as you download a copy of the latest software and be prepared to install it afterwards so all your other window programs work correctly.

What mouse do you use? perhaps you can add a button to your mouse for the up arrow instead of trying to bind it on the game or keyboard?

I have a G9 and it has 3 options where I can choose how to use the mouse, by changing the option I can use it on windows and with a single click I can bind keystrokes to the buttons to use in Gaming so when I am in the mouse/kb options in the game, I choose that button and presto... gaming galore

This has to be the best problem in the world like 10/10. I have uninstalled drivers, this is a fresh re-install of windows 7 was installed on the 15th of April. What registry clearer do you recommend?

Side note of the problem: I recently purchased GTA5 there's one heist that you have to play a snake like game with the arrow keys and I can't use them. Theres no option to change these keys unless its for the phone which I can use middle mouse button. Its like binded to a menu option.
