Game Updates Server Windows 7 Games Explorer

When I try and update a game from the games explorer it says Windows is unable to connect to the game updates server Check your network connection or try again later. It has said this for a while now it didn't say this when I first installed Windows 7. Before it seemed to be related to IE8 but I don't remember what I did to fix it.

I solved this problem by enabling the Client for Microsoft Networks.

Right click your default internet connection,select properties,go to Networking tab and tick Client for Microsoft Networks.
