Hi guys!
New kid on the block...
I have reinstated my computer to an image created by Microsoft...I usually use Clonezilla for such images and have such an image but for ease of reset I used the Microsoft one....
The image was with all my software, hardware for this computer installed....
I never checked with sfc before creating the backup because I didn't imagine for one moment I would have any problems on an new install updated to today's date with all software installed.
This image was from 2014 and I expected a lot of updates to follow after reinstating it...
Microsoft always have problems with updates from an old image....
I fixed the updates first and then went on to running sfc...
It came up errors after several attempts that you show in the thread here....
I then downloaded the system readiness update KB947821 and then ran sfc again after restarting the computer...
It still came up errors....
I then tried to run your code to put the sfcdetails.txt on the desktop....
I got a "couldn't find the path?"
I am attaching my cbs log for you to look at....
I know it shouldn't affect the running of sfc but just so you know...the C: drive is on the SSD and my user account is on another drive...
Please let me know if you need anything else...
