Quickbooks is requiring me to update my W7 pro desktop to W10 in order to update to QB2020.
I have tried at least 10 times to upgrade to W10 pro using the instructions on this web page

I had the media creation tool make me a couple USB sticks with an ISO on one and the .exe files on another one.
Neither one of those methods will update and neither will it update just choosing to update one PC not using a USB stick
The free W10 upgrade worked perfectly fine on one W7 pro desktop last week, but it is a very simple machine with less than 6 pieces of software installed, no printers or external devices.
I liked the free upgrade and was hoping to be able to do it again on my main business machine.
I have tried every fix listed in google searches that I could find for this error message
0x8007001F - 0x20006 The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC
Nothing has worked so far
The upgrade looks like it is going to finish and boot into W10, but then it says it is putting my computer back to the way it was and then shows me the error message I posted above.
If I can't get the free upgrade to work on this machine, do you guys think that a purchased W10 disc would upgrade and get by the error message.
I don't mind buying W10 pro if I have to.
It will just be another business expense.
Any one have any feedback on this issue?
