I just upgraded from Vista to Win 7 32 bit. Everything went fine except that the resolution is all messed up. Its like my screen is stretched out.. In my display options I only have 2 choices.. 1024x768 and one thats way smaller and makes everything huge. Ive spent hours online trying to find the solution and cannot find anything. I THINK maybe I need to download a new graphics driver but I have no clue which one to get?

Here are some screenshots.. One is of the resolution and one is of my screen so you can see how stretched and blurry it looks.

As Prof has suggested, its probably just drivers.

You could try windows updates:
Click start >> Right Click Computer >> Properties >> Click Windows Updates (Bottom Left) >> Check for Updates (Left Side).

I have found that Windows 7/updates are pretty good at finding/installing required drivers however if this doesn't help then as Prof said just update the drivers manually, let us know if you have any issues with this.

Just let us know the Make/Model of your computer/laptop (It is worth updating your system specs under User CP).

OK the model and brand of the sound device is needed to track down the drivers, this is a common problem with upgrading any Windows OS. If your computer had vista on it the drivers should work with 7 but if it had XP you have less chance.

{This is how to find the audio device model}

To find your sound device we need to open a device list. To do this right click "computer" on the start menu, then select "manage". Now go on the pannal on the side and select "Device Manager. Locate the S"ound, Video and Game Controllers". Copy down all the names of the sound device(s) (on to notepad) if there is more than one. (They have a speaker icon next to them)

(Now you have the model and driver this is irrelivent

{If it is not on the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers"}

Search for unknown drivers on the same list, copy anything you think is sound related on to a notepad.

I hope this helps and if you cannot find the drivers yourself post the names or screenshots back on here

Hi Prof, yeah I did already try to locate the drivers that way. There is literally nothing there. The whole sound tree is empty. Im gonna try to install the drivers recommended above. I'll let u know how that goes.
