And tips on how to do that, and is it even possible?

I wanna get Win7 on my girlfriends computer, and they are not yet selling family licenses in my country (!!), so I was hoping I could upgrade her Win Vista to Win7 without having to do a clean format.

and if you can get your hands on an RTM version of Windows 7, that's much preferred. Remember that RC will be doing shutdowns every 2 hours when February comes and will stop working all together when June comes ;)
