Solved Upgrading to a N Wireless Router?

Hi everyone.

I've recently heard about the benefits of upgrading from a G Wireless Router to a N Wireless Router.
I am particularly interested in upgrading becuase I do have a G Wireless Router, I have quite a lot of network devices using the internet constantly and sometimes it seems very sluggish. ( I have tried to solve this by changing the channel, it helped a bit but I think it can be better.)

I would like to know if upgrading would simply mean plugging the router in and changing a few settings in a new G Wireless Router to work with my existing ISP or if this process would be a bit more complicated.

My ISP was originally Telstra Clear then we were moved to Vodafone. In the end we decided to completely upgrade to one of Vodafone's plans which made us a Vodafone Customer. Since we were not with Vodafone before, they haven't upgraded are wireless router but they have upgraded are modem. We get our internet through cable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The benefits are substantially better than G wireless in every single way, but what could be even better is dual bandwidth wireless routers(2.4 and 5GHz), they broadcast these bandwidths together at the same time effectively giving you the option to switch if lots of devices are using wireless and performance is sluggish on the 2.4GHz bandwidth, hope this helps.

I have heard about dual bandwidth wireless routers and it sounds like they do increase they performance.

Would you be able to tell me how I would upgrade in terms of transferring my settings from my existing G wireless router to a new N wireless router?

Basically how would I go about doing this?
(I don't think plugging it in straight away would work )

Yes, you just Plug-in your router N and change few settings like your set-up in router G

as Creed said, it's almost plug and play, just type in a password and you're connected.
