USB device not recognized, although no USB attached

i am getting this error again and again, how to get rid of it?

Welcome to Seven Forums bahilog. I'm going to go with the easiest fix if it works. Shut down the PC, then unplug it from AC power. Hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds. Leave it unplugged for 30 minutes, plug it back in and boot it back up. See if this fixed the problem. A Guy

Thanks A Guy for this simple fix. I've been struggling with this for awhile now and your solution worked perfectly. If one has a laptop don't forget to remove the battery. Just my ¢¢.
