Hi! Suddenly started to get "USB device not recognized error". It occurs every 5 sec followed by "plugged" and "unplugged" sounds, just like u r trying to plug and then immediately unplug something. I found kinda workaround: unplug from the outlet, remove all the usb devices, wait a minute and then power on, login and plug in all the devices back. But it works until the next shut down. Then I have to do it again. All the usb devices (usb cam, speakers, usb3 drive, mouse & keyboard, usb2 extender with wifi dongle on it) work. Please help me! This is at work video editing pc so I really suffer from the "pu-bum" sound every 2.5 sec.
Help!

I have Win7 Pro 64bit
ASUS p8p67 mobo

Hi there .. Just as a test remove some of the USB Devices and see how it goes .. What sort of Video editing do you do is it on a very large scale .. Also have a look at the Motherboards website and see if they have a BIOS update .. I do not normally recommend this . But it could provide more Stability

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I tried to remove the cam..!

I did a little research as u suggested and i paid attention to the usb cam not working after the startup, if i unplug it and plug again, it works. I tried to uninstall the driver by going to device manager, but after reboot the issue came back. Can u suggest something?

Hi there .. So you think it might be the Cam which is causing the problem ? What is the make and Model number of it .. Did you check the Motherboards website for updates .

I'm afraid of updating BIOS. It would be fatal if the pc wouldnt boot. Windows Update doesn't suggest anything tough.
