USB flash drive works in other PC's, just not in mine

Hi All

I have a flash drive. It works great in ANY PC except mine - It picks up the USB drive but shows it as if it has a raw file format - cannot open the flash drive but it shows up on my comp. Now you might think my PC it the problem, which it probably is, but all other USB hardware (including OTHER flash drives) works fine on my PC. Why does my PC not detect it properly? Any suggestions?

Connect it to another pc, copy all to it, then format to NTFS & replace your data.

Are you sure that this particular flash drive is fine, reads and writes on the other PC?

If you can, put out Disk Management screenshots of it both on your PC where it shows RAW and on the other PC where it shows fine with the filesystem.

Now I unplugged it from Port X where it could not be read('unknown' file system, and does not show up in DSK MGMT), and put it into Port Y. Same story... BUT when I put it back into Port X again, it works fine, but now here is another strange part: In Disk Management it shows up as a RAW formatted disk (I did refresh). But in My Comp it shows FAT32...???

SO I guess I can use it now, until I plug it out and in again - it will probably scold me again

It is a CruzerBlade 15GB

What when you plug it into another PC? That part of my query is still unanswered.

Again it is very difficult for me to visualize that it can show RAW in Disk Management but with FAT32 FileSystem in Computer.

Were you able to read and write into it?

I also don't understand how that can be. Please post one of these. Using the same computer you got the other picture from.
My Computer right click then go to properties.
