USB mic volume to low through windows

USB mic volume very low win7x64

Hi.
I've got a blue eyeball 2, it's a usb mic which is pnp.
If i use a program like ts3, it works fine, even tho you can't ajust mic input volume it does work fine.
But when running through the default windows capture the volume becomes so low that you can't hear anything.

When searching the forums i only find people with the same problem, but using analog mics.

I'm using nvidia's shadow play, if i understand it correctly uses the default windows input for capture of the mic.
Mic volume is 100%, wonder if you could overboost to something like 200%, Maybe there's even a regedit for that.

Any suggestions on how to increase the volume?

are you sure the system volume itself is not turned all the way down?

Yes i'm sure. There's no boost option, only volume and it's 100%. I've checked several times.

Sounds to me like it could possibly be a hardware issue with the mic itself.

Possibly, but then how come it works with ts3? Even tho people tell me i'm a bit low, but they have no issues hearing me.
Or is it simply because ts3 is boosting beyond what windows can do?

Like, is it possible to add the boost slider through a regedit ?
Is it possible to change the value of the volume slider, instead of it going to 100 as max, maybe that could be changed to 200 ?
