USB Sticks Stop Working After A Few Minutes

ok it says fat 32 but its hanging on 0% complete for checking files and folders, probally cause it cant read it again

Does the problem happen with multiple different USB sticks or only the one? If the problem happens with only the one USB stick then that would eliminate your AV software as the issue. If you haven't tried any other USB sticks it would be helpful if you could try another to see if it behaves the same way.

The fact that the problem happens with multiple computers also tends to make me believe that the issue is the stick itself, coupled with the fact that you get the message to fix corrupted files when you plug it in. Have you tried answering yes to that question?

Since chkdsk doesn't seem to be working for you, you might try a 3rd party tool such as this one: Data-Doctor-Recovery-Pen-Drive. I've never used it so can't attest to how effective it is but it would be worth a try.

I have my other 16gb bytestor usb, i jus plugged it in and it still reads it, it must be the usb then

but when i try to fix the error on the sandisk it cant fix it because it cant read it so i cant fix it :S

Well i do have a older back up of that on my 1tb hardrive and well apart from some youtube videos and some pic from my iphone and pic of me and girlfreind i sopose not............... i no ur goin to say format....

And when you do format, choose NTFS. Do not choose FAT, FAT32, exFAT or anything with FAT in it.

Well it cant be fixed caus it will always stop bein read after 1 min so i sopose

Well i cant copy anything off it now so it is useless at this very second

One last option to consider, and it depends on the value of the data on the USB drive. SANDISK does a paid USB recovery tool. You can run the trial to see if it can read the data. If it can, you can make a decision on whether its worth it to purchase or not:
