Hey guys. I have a problem. USBPort.sys has a high DPC latency. This causes CPU spikes and the problem is most noticeable in FL Studio. I'm a musician, so I need this problem to be fixed.

Here are my specs:
CPU: i5 3570k
RAM:8GB
OS:Windows 7

So how can I fix these DPC latency issues caused by USBPort.sys?

I have a recording studio (Sonar).

What do you have connected to USB port(s) when you run the Resplendence Latency Mon? If your recording interface unit is connected that may be the cause of it reporting high usage.

Post a couple screen shots from Latency Mon so we can try to analyze it.

I only have a mouse, a keyboard and an MPC connected to the USB slots.

I attached 2 images, that show my latency while using FL Studio.

The highest latency spikes occur when I adjust the piano roll. But even when I'm not adjusting the piano roll; the latency will random spike for a few seconds.

Latency when running a program, such as a DAW program, versus no DAW program running does not indicate the PC, itself, is the issue.

Run it without your DAW running and without your interface unit connected.

What is your recording buffer settings? Too low and there can be issues.
